Our Story
I truly believe we can go after our dreams at any stage in life. Age really is but a number! Midlife can be a transformational time, and I love nothing more than helping women feel confident in their style choices. I look forward to helping you on that journey
my story
I’ve have always loved styling, so much so, I turned my experience working in women’s glossy magazines and photo shoots, into a midlife career, retraining and qualifying as a Personal Stylist. Getting to know my clients, understanding their individual needs and being able to offer tailored advice, I discovered I love helping women boost their style confidence and rediscover their fashion mojo when life has taken over.

I’ve have always loved styling, so much so, I turned my experience working in women’s glossy magazines and photo shoots, into a midlife career, retraining and qualifying as a Personal Stylist. Getting to know my clients, understanding their individual needs and being able to offer tailored advice, I discovered I love helping women boost their style confidence and rediscover their fashion mojo when life has taken over.
Boutique and personal styling
It started with a Wink...
In 2018, I started @winktothewardrobe to create a community and a place to share my styling tips and then in 2023, at the age of 59 yrs, I took the plunge and launched ‘Wink to the Wardrobe’, an online boutique with individual styling advice. Each season, I personally select key pieces from independent designers and labels for their quality, affordability, wearability and of course style. I’m also always looking out for pieces which are a little bit different, and in some cases items that you are unlikely to have seen before, and strongly consider how the clothes might work together in different combinations, maximising their potential.

Designed for you to ask any general style queries or concerns that you might have, as well as any questions about the boutique pieces and what might suit you best.
Style It
All about making the most of the boutique purchases you’ve made. During our chat I’ll suggest ways to wear and importantly ideas to integrate your new Wink pieces into your existing wardrobe and personal style, so gone are the days of buying something and not being sure what to wear it with!
In Person Styling
I also offer a suite of in person styling services for those based in the South East.
